Andrea Shoemaker possesses over three decades of extensive experience within the criminal justice and social work sectors. Throughout her career, she has held various significant positions, including Supervisor with the Court Appointed Special Advocate Program for the Enotah Judicial Circuit, Child Protective Services Investigator, Regional Supervisor, and State Program Coordinator with the Department of Family and Children Services. Additionally, Shoemaker has dedicated over a decade to the Northeastern Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office as the Senior Victim Advocate and has served as a Clinical Evaluator with Chestatee Counseling Center for more than three years.
Shoemaker holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Christian Counseling and a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology. She is also certified as a Child Forensic Interviewer under the Child First Protocol. Her professional passion lies in assisting individuals who are striving to overcome trauma.
